Fa Representation Agreement

The only right of termination provided for in the standard contract is that it is “terminated with immediate effect if the intermediary`s registration expires during the term of the contract and the intermediary does not renew its registration within 14 days of the player`s written request”. The standard player representation contract only provides for the percentage of commissions and confirmation that it is payable in a package at the beginning of the game contract or at the end of each contract year. The standard contract for the representation of clubs and players only offers the parties an empty field to confirm the services that the intermediary will provide. Parties who do not obtain legal advice when concluding a representation contract provide, without exception, very broad and basic information about brokerage services, such as “football trading services”. The FA`s Working with Intermediaries Regulations require all parties to enter into a valid written representation contract before that intermediary engages in an intermediary activity, and that the representation contract contains at least all the mandatory conditions of the standard representation contract published by the FA. Finally, the parties to a representation contract have access to sensitive and confidential information, without exception, and the parties are therefore always advised to keep the terms of the representation contract and any other sensitive information confidential. This is just a snapshot of some of the obligations that should be included in a performance contract and is by no means an exhaustive list. Provisions for remuneration are an essential element of the representation contract, especially since transactions usually include commitments for large sums of money. . . .
